As the days went by, during the festival, I kept thinking more and more about the film. "Seven acts of mercy" stands out for its perfect direction and great attention to form. The images were very beautiful , composing memorable sequences. The film is a breath of fresh air for Italian cinema, going beyond any kind of fashionable neorealism.

Following Caravaggio’s example, they bring on the screen a painful, human – very human – parable, open to hope… The brothers Gianluca and Massimiliano De Serio represent a flattering introduction to Italian Cinema.
